Het onderzoeks- en innovatieprogramma Horizon Europe organiseert in 2027 een reeks oproepen rond circulaire economie. Dit is hét moment om je in het thema te verdiepen en de eerste stappen te zetten om een project op te zetten. Er zijn onder andere oproepen betreffende textiel, elektronica, bouw, bio-economie, stedelijke productie, …
Onze collega’s van NCP Brussels hebben voor Circlemade een aantal voorbeelden geselecteerd van oproepen rond circulariteit.
Samenwerkingsprojecten voor elk profiel (kmo’s, academische instellingen, ngo’s …)
Verschillende onderdelen van dit programma worden betrokken, waaronder de Cluster 4 een luik dat zich richt op de industrie en meer bepaald op het versnellen van de circulariteit, terwijl Cluster 6 oproepen bevat die bijdragen aan de transitie naar een circulaire economie. Ten slotte is het New European Bauhaus gewijd aan circulaire en regeneratieve benaderingen voor de bouwomgeving.

Opportuniteiten voor start-ups en jonge kmo’s
Het EIT – European Institute of Innovation & Technology biedt nog meer opportuniteiten. De nadruk hierbij ligt op onderzoek, innovatie en onderwijs (de kennisdriehoek), soms gecombineerd met kleinere financieringen. Het doel is om het innovatievermogen in Europa te versterken via kennis- en innovatiegemeenschappen (KIC’s). Momenteel zijn er tien van die gemeenschappen, die zich richten op globale uitdagingen. Het thema circulaire economie komt in de volgende gemeenschappen aan bod :
