Rool is an industrial design company founded in 2021 that designs and manufactures products for businesses looking to fit out cargo bikes or have specific trailers. These bikes, converted into utility vehicles, offer customised ecological solutions to meet the transportation, sales, delivery, or communication needs of professionals.
Products and Services
Rool specialises in the customisation of tricycles, bicycles, cargo bikes and trailers to meet the specific needs of its clients. The process begins with thorough study and design, including needs analysis, logistical requirements, and constraints. Usage scenarios are considered and tested and the work is modelled before being previewed on the computer. Rool then moves on to the production phase.
Rool has also developed and markets a compact trailer called Willy, assembled in Belgium.
This trailer features a lightweight platform positioned above small sturdy wheels, offering extensive loading flexibility and a small footprint on the road. It attaches to the rear wheel of the bike using a common Thule attachment. The connecting arm can be raised to use Willy alone as a “hand trolley” or fully folded for compact storage.

Thanks to its expertise in industrial design, Rool develops its products from design to manufacture. These products are designed based on standard components and common tools, facilitating repairs and part replacements. Assembly between different parts is always mechanical, allowing for system evolution according to needs and easier disassembly for future recycling.
The trailer developed and produced by Rool stands out for its design aimed at minimising material usage. It consists of only three main parts and is designed as a monomaterial and modular structure, greatly facilitating recycling.
