CF2D is a project derived from CF2M (a non-profit organisation for socio-professional integration since 1987). It involves a service activity in the field of information technology and electronics and initiated launched in 2004.

CF2D collects, repairs, refurbishes, and sells computer equipment to businesses and individuals. These activities serve fulfil a social purpose aim of offering employment training and digital inclusion.

Products & Services

CF2D offers a complete service for the collection of decommissioned computer equipment and provides a receipt (brands, models).

CF2D offers a service for the destruction of computer data destruction service through two types of formatting, as well as the physical destruction of hard drives. At the end of the process, a formatting certificate or a certificate of physical destruction is provided.

The company sells refurbished and guaranteed computer equipment (laptops, accessories, servers, routers, firewalls, etc.). It also offers a repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance service in its workshop. Parts that cannot be reused are recycled after dismantling.

Expertise

CF2D has developed comprehensive expertise that allows it to promote the reuse of equipment after verification and possible repair, as well as to promote the use of second-hand spare parts to limit resource waste. Its assessors can identify equipment whose life will be extended and send to recycling that which is technically at the end of its life. This allows more than 90% of computer equipment to be recycled.

CF2D is engaged in an innovative approach process through a range of projects aimed at strengthening two aspects of its approach: the environment by seeking new valorisation solutions and the social aspect by employing low-skilled individuals and reducing the digital divide.
