Citydev, or the regional development company of the Brussels-Capital Region (SDRB), is a public-sector organisation with two main missions: creating spaces for businesses (economic expansion) and creating housing accessible to all (urban renewal).
As part of the circlemade cluster’s activities, citydev is a key player in finding locations for circular production activities in the region.
In terms of economic expansion, citydev’s mission is to attract and retain industrial, semi-industrial, artisanal and service companies that offer high added value in the region, by offering them real estate infrastructure at attractive prices. A wide range of facilities and services are available, including industrial parks, science parks, parks for SMEs and VSEs, company buildings, incubators and FabLabs.
Citydev also plays a key role in managing the operational side of the temporary occupation helpdesk (www.temporary.brussels), supporting project leaders and building owners.
