NCP Brussels, your official contact point for accessing European research and innovation funding.
Are you an SME, large company, university, research centre, association or public administration established in the Brussels Region and wanting to develop – or join – a research and innovation (R&I) project?
NCP Brussels, the official national contact point for Horizon Europe in the Brussels-Capital Region, helps any Brussels entity to receive the main source of European funding for R&I projects, namely Horizon Europe, an ambitious programme for a green, healthy, digital and inclusive Europe. With a budget of €95.5 billion for the period 2021-2027, Horizon Europe is the largest R&I programme in the world.
Within hub.brussels and with the support of the Government of the Brussels-Capital Region, NCP Brussels supports companies, universities, associations and research centres based in Brussels with a free professional service:
- Information on European funding opportunities for research and innovation through our LinkedIn group, Twitter account and collective information sessions on the different phases of a project and on specific themes (thematic axis or specific instruments).
- Personalised support for project leaders (coordinators or partners) throughout the life of the project
- Before submitting a project, we help you to:
- validate the project idea and check its alignment with Horizon Europe’s objectives
- identify quality partners through our international NCP networks or by participating in B2B meetings organised by the Enterprise Europe Network
- understand the financial, legal and administrative aspects of submitting a European project
- consider the intellectual property aspects
- During the implementation of the project, we help you to:
- prepare your financial reports
- resolve any problems that may arise (e.g. a defaulting partner)
- At the end of the project, we help you to:
- pursue your operation and dissemination strategies to exploit your research results (including the identification of appropriate partners in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Brussels)
- find European funding to create new projects
