Shayp is a service company founded in 2017. Thanks to user-friendly technology, it enables its clients, property owners and managers, as well as insurers, to monitor water leaks in their distribution network and thus save water wastage costs that are typically invisible at the outset. Water savings of around 20% can be achieved with a return on investment period of less than 18 months.
Products & Services
Shayp has developed and installs non-invasive sensors on water meters which detect water leaks. Water consumption data is tracked automatically and in real time. Meters can be read remotely and the data can be viewed on a web platform.
The software provides continuous access to data and leak detection, whether on PC or mobile. It prioritises leaks for repair. The system also tracks maintenance and repairs throughout the network.
Expertise
Shayp developed the sensor as well as all the software and the accompanying artificial intelligence for leak detection. It has developed an algorithm that identifies every anomaly in water consumption to detect its origin. This algorithm is constantly evolving. It detects leaks using statistical methods and machine learning that adapt to the building’s consumption model.
Thanks to its expertise, the company has already managed to save more than one billion litres of water.
