Fyteko was founded in 2014. It develops, produces, and brings to the global market new molecules intended for crop protection.
Products & Services
The first molecule developed was a biostimulant which enhances plants’ ability to combat abiotic stress and activates their metabolism, assisting them in their growth.
These ingredients help to increase crop yields worldwide. They complement protection products and fertilisers.
These molecules are produced in bioreactors.
The product is available in three different formulations and applications.
NURSEED is a seed coating product.
NURSPRAY is applied directly to the leaves.
NURSOIL is applied to the soil.
Other molecules are in development, undergoing testing or in the certification process, and will, among other things, reduce herbicide use by 50% or allow the biological control of crops.
Expertise
The company positions itself as a research platform whose aim is to identify and produce new biomolecules that are essential for certain biological processes. The goal is to strengthen the metabolism of plants exposed to abiotic stress and improve the response to herbicides or other biological control products.
The uniqueness of the products lies in their inspiration by nature. The molecules produced are designed to mimic those generated by plants in extreme environments of temperature and drought. By exposing plants to these molecules beforehand, they are prepared to better withstand potential future stress.
