Presentation

Cru atelier is an eco-friendly design laboratory founded in 2023, specialising in the use of bio-sourced and geo-sourced materials. It transforms natural resources into everyday objects and custom-made furnishings, while adopting a sustainable and ethical approach.

Products & Services

Cru atelier’s activities focus on the creation of design objects and furnishings using local and natural materials. By working materials such as earth, hemp or lime, the collective produces unique pieces, while reducing their environmental impact through a circular approach based on reuse, recyclability and zero waste.

The activities offered include:

  • Interior design and set design: Cru atelier designs and produces custom spaces for private residences and commercial or institutional spaces, in close collaboration with its customers to optimise the space, while respecting aesthetic and environmental values. Creations such as bench seats, kitchen islands and display units are evidence of this approach.
  • Creation of objects: Each piece is designed to reflect a balance between aesthetics and the uniqueness of the natural materials. Owing to production that is geared towards small series, using reusable moulds and formwork, Cru atelier combines efficiency of manufacture and flexibility, allowing for customization while providing ethical and sustainable design solutions.
  • Consultancy and on-site management: Cru atelier offers technical support for development projects using natural materials, from design to implementation.
  • Know-how transfer: Cru atelier also offers workshops and training to raise awareness of sustainable materials and teach the techniques for working with earth and other natural materials.

Expertise

Cru atelier sets itself apart due to its mastery of natural materials, in particular earth, and its continuous search for better solutions for exploiting these local resources. Be it interior design or temporary installations, Cru atelier combines sustainability, aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Its creations respect artisanal techniques while incorporating modern innovations such as the use of recycled materials or zero waste processes. Each project is tailored to the specific characteristics of the premises, of the materials and of its customers.
