CIRCULIFE extends the life of professional IT equipment by orchestrating repair, reuse and redeployment through a neutral digital platform. By combining financial valuation, CO₂ accounting and lifecycle reporting, it enables companies to make circular choices that are both economically and environmentally sound.

Herbeton develops a circular premix made from demolition rubble, recovered sand and earth, usable like conventional concrete but with a much lower carbon footprint. It transforms construction waste into a resource, making circular building more accessible, affordable and scalable.

JOON creates modular, glue-free and fully recyclable shoes, designed to be repaired, customised and reused instead of discarded. By rethinking footwear from the ground up, JOON tackles one of fashion’s most wasteful product categories with radical circular design.

Karibu helps cities, companies and citizens reuse materials directly from renovation sites through in-situ inventories, validation and design. It turns demolition waste into local resources, reducing emissions while creating new circular renovation practices.

Klets designs modular stools made from reclaimed wood and recovered furniture, produced in small series and through participatory workshops. Each piece gives materials a second life while raising public awareness around circular design and local craftsmanship.

Beercrackers transforms spent grain from breweries into vegan, high-fibre crackers aligned with Belgian beer culture. By converting a massive by-product into nutritious snacks, it combines circular economy with sustainable food innovation.

She impressed the jury

At the final BEARTH jury, Virginie won first prize with CIRCULIFE, a solution that makes the reuse of professional IT equipment simpler, more measurable and more profitable.

She pitched her project in front of more than 200 people at the Brussels Founders Night, co-organised with BeCentral.

As part of this award, she receives 12 months of mentoring from Réseau Entreprendre Bruxelles, a key player in Brussels’ entrepreneurial ecosystem.
